I am delighted to report that my recent article about exploring and fishing in the Big Cypress Preserve, one of the first national preserves in the nation, was featured in the Hidden Gems section of the August/September issue of Florida Sportsman. Located in south Florida next to the Everglades National Park, the Big Cypress Preserve was recently in the news as the home of the now-defunct Alligator Alcatraz.
